25 Years of Techno Music
Best Techno Monsters was founded in 1999 in a former East Berlin industrial warehouse — a concrete shell with no heating, bad acoustics, and the best sound system anyone in the building had ever heard. What started as a collective of three DJs and a borrowed mixer grew into one of Germany’s most uncompromising underground techno labels.
We have always believed that techno is not entertainment. It is a physical force — between the machine and the body, the bass and the floor, the darkness and the crowd moving as one. Every release we put out is chosen because it hits where nothing else does.
Over the years, Best Techno Monsters has released music from artists across Germany, Belgium, Japan, and the Czech Republic — united not by geography but by a shared obsession: rawness, precision, and the relentless forward pulse of the kick drum.
Today we run a record label, a residency at Tresor Berlin, and annual events across Berlin, Leipzig, and Amsterdam. If you find our music, it usually means you were already in the right place.
